‘Thank You for Being My Guardian and Protector in This Life’ and 9 Other Unhinged Pull Quotes From Aide Natalie Harp’s Letters to Trump

This week, Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Georgia) opened a strange, twisted can of worms when he criticized Trump’s relationship with his 35-year-old White House aide Natalie Harp, who’s been appearing with greater frequency in the Oval Office and, without fail, next to the president’s side. Harp—and this was before entering Trump’s immediate orbit—was once described by members of the Secret Service as being so obsessed with him that she posed “a potential danger to herself as well as to [him].” And if you think that sounds dramatic, you clearly haven’t laid eyes on the two damning letters Harp wrote to him, which were obtained and published by the Daily Beast on Thursday, giving the public a look into their private relationship. (A look I wish I could unsee…)

According to DB, Trump’s biographer Michael Wolff obtained the documents while writing his book All or Nothing about Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and decided to publish them with the outlet because “These letters are a red flag.” However, “red flag” is quite the understatement. That flag was already red. What these letters reveal is much worse: A woman in the throes of a psychotic break with deep, depraved obsession with the president.

So, here are the top 10 pull quotes spanning the two letters, from least to most embarassing/concerning. (Or, a list of what I would show a medical professional to argue why Trump and Natalie Harp should not be allowed in the same room).

10. “With all my heart, Natalie.”

To start, we have her non-HR-approved sign-off (if they even have HR in Trump’s West Wing)

9. “I haven’t been myself, dwelling on the Past, and the pain of losing my Dad, and I started letting the remarks of people who haven’t bothered me before, get to me—not because I care what others think, but because I see myself being lowered in your eyes and good opinion.”

Trauma dumping.

8. “I don’t want to ever let you down.”

Committed employee or reincarnation of Nikki from Obsession?

7. “And please, when I fail, will you tell me? You have the absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more.”

It’ll be a cold day in hell before I ever told a man he had the “right to cuss me out.”

6. “I want things to always be right between us.”

Gross.

5. “I miss the days when you used to call, during my Talkshow days, and we’d talk about everything and nothing. I want to get back to that synergy. We shouldn’t have to talk about work all the time!!”

Describing her (clearly perverse) relationship with Trump while using business jargon like “synergy” is bringing my lunch back up.

4. “I never want to bring you anything but joy. I’m sorry I lost my focus.”

What—

3. “You are all that matters to me.”

—the fuck?

2. “Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life.”

And last but certainly not least…She quotes Pride & Prejudice.

1. “To modify a classic, ‘I could not have parted with you, to anyone less worthy’ And, I will add, it is I who is unworthy.”

She thinks Donald Trump is Mr. Darcy. Someone get this woman the psychiatric help she clearly needs.
