Jared Leto Accused of Sexual Misconduct—Again—by 9 More Women

Known sex pest accused of even more sex crimes??? What a shocker. Just a year after nine women accused Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars Frontman Jared Leto of sexual misconduct, a new BBC documentary is revealing accounts from even more women with similar allegations, including four who were teenagers at the time. 

In June 2025, an investigation into Leto’s “predatory, terrifying” behavior was published by the newsletter AirMail. The disturbing allegations, which at the time Leto “expressly” denied, occurred in the early 2000s when the women were teenagers. That, unsurprisingly, wasn’t enough to stop Leto from starring in some Amazon superhero slop, but now, over a year later, there’s more. In the new BBC Documentary, Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret, premiering Wednesday, 10 women have come forward with allegations against Leto, nine of whom the outlet confirms are sharing their stories publicly for the first time.

The incidents reported in the new documentary are alleged to have occurred between 2002 and 2016, when the actor was in his 30s and 40s, and four of the accusers say they were teenagers at the time—meaning Leto’s conduct could constitute criminal offenses in the US. One woman said she was sexually assaulted in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another woman, who waived her right to anonymity, recalled attending one of his concerts when she was 19. After being invited to an after-party with the band, she arrived to find Leto, then 41, alone. Unsure what to do, the woman recalled Leto telling her, “if you sleep here, you’re going to wake up with a dick in your ass.” The third woman said she had sex with Leto when she was 17, but that he “shrugged off a conversation about the age of consent.” The fourth woman claims he made repeated sexually explicit phone calls to her when she was 16.

“This was 25 years ago… he has gotten away with it,” one of the women told the BBC.

Leto responded to the new allegations in a statement to TMZ, saying: “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.” However, the outlet corroborated the women’s accounts through friends and family members as well as photographs and messages that “support the women’s accounts.” BBC also obtained the NDA that the fourth woman was asked to sign—but ultimately refused—which would have prevented her from publicly discussing her relationship with Leto.

The documentary also questioned two men who worked with Leto’s band, who confirmed “how uncomfortable staff felt about the way Leto would interact with teenage girls, sometimes inviting them backstage to his dressing room or inviting them to the house where he was recording.”

The stories in the documentary demonstrate the same behavior alleged in AirMail’s investigations, and the same behavior young women have been discussing for years, like Allie Teilz, who wrote a Facebook status back in 2012: “Youre [sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage…In a kilt..And a snow hat.” Last year, Teilz reposted the status and added, “I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17…He knew my age and didn’t care. What he did was predatory, terrifying, and unacceptable.”

The question remains: How many more women and teenage girls have to come forward for Hollywood to stop ignoring an undeniable pattern? How many Amazon slop superhero movies starring Jared Leto does Hollywood have to make before acknowledging that yes, he is a predator?
